Ben is a community psychologist providing counselling and psychological therapy for adults and adolescents, offering a range of therapeutic approaches tailored to individual needs.

Ben focuses on well-being and self-discovery, prioritising each individual’s life experiences. His therapeutic practice emphasises collaboration and informed decision-making, helping clients navigate challenges such as:

A Community Psychologist with a whole-person approach

As a Community Psychologist, Ben’s approach integrates individual factors with a consideration of broader systemic, social, cultural, and environmental influences. This holistic approach is crucial in fostering emotional safety and promoting positive outcomes.

Ben’s key areas of interest are life changes and adjustment, depression, anxiety, living with the impacts of trauma and sense of identity development. Ben has developed a thorough understanding of the challenges families face with the experience of disability and values providing support for those that support others.

Support for people from all walks of life

Ben is passionate about supporting those who identify as neurodivergent, recognising the strengths that come with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and other developmental differences. Ben’s caring, curious, and kind approach creates a safe and supportive environment where you can explore and better understand each person’s unique lived experiences.

Ben also serves as a Psychology Board of Australia-approved supervisor for postgraduate psychology students, provisional psychologists as well as providing supervision for other allied health professionals.
