Jo Lockart
Clinical Social Worker
Jo is a clinical social worker who specialises working with women and girls 16+ who have experienced complex trauma or chronic stress.
She is a person-centred trauma informed therapist, which means she centres the client as the expert of their lives, whilst ensuring a safe and collaborative therapy space that engenders trust, choice, empowerment and respect for diversity.

A Clinical Social Worker with compassionate, person-centred approach
Jo works relationally with her clients, often long term, using a broad range of approaches like:
Mindfulness, self compassion, attachment theory, feminist principles, inner child therapy, FLASH technique (memory reconsolidation) and an understanding of the systems that perpetuate trauma.
Jo is also a qualified Clinical Supervisor, with training by The Bouverie Institute, and provides supervision to social workers working in mental health, domestic violence and new graduates.
She understands and acknowledges the strength and courage it takes to reach out for help and promises to meet you where you are - gently and mindfully.
